This dress is both demure and daring: the cut is conservative, but the palette is decidedly not. #WOWflower, not wallflower! Chicago dressmaker HENRY-LEE opened in 1957. They gained a following by offering their lovely dresses as coveted prizes at department stores. The company still exists but has evolved from a focus on women's apparel to denim. This Henry-Lee creation dates from the mid-1960s.
