According to the Vintage Fashion Guild, designer Madeleine Fauth started at Arkay, Inc. in 1942, after a decade of designing for other houses in New York. This dress exemplifies the ultra-feminine fit of her 1950s designs, featuring a fitted bodice with princess seams and full skirt. The silk print is a gorgeous palette of royal blue, crimson, black, and white.
